Atheltstone Soccer Club - Synthetic Pitch
Sports Design Group were engaged by Limonta Sports Australia to complete the design and documentation for the new synthetic soccer facility.
The new soccer pitch is 100x66m with 3m runoff on all sides. The project involved stripping the existing natural turf pitch surface, reshaping the base and importation of new rock base to provide the foundations of the new pitch.
From there the typical Limonta Sports profile was implemented consisting of drainage cell, shockpad and the 50mm synthetic turf profile.
The project came with a number of challenges which required design solutions from Sports Design Groups expert design team, including matching in with the adjoining field and new pavilion.
WH Robinson Reserve - Preston
Sports Design Group were engaged by Mike Smith and Associates to complete the detail design and documentation for the WH Robinson upgrades.
The upgrades included a new turf profile along with substantial subsoil drainage along with a new irrigation system.
Carwatha College - Nobel Park
Carwatha College in Melbourne's east now boasts one of Australia's most environmentally friendly synthetic soccer fields.
Whilst this project had its challenges, there was nothing too difficult for our experienced project team.
From dealing with unidentified authority services which delayed the project by 8 months, to managing saturated ground conditions, our expert team exceed all project specification requirements at every stage.
Burnside Heights Oval Number 2
Sports Design Group were engaged by Joslyn Group to complete the design and documentation for the upgrade to Burnside Oval Number 2.
The project will comprise the development of a full size natural turf AFL Oval which included, five (5) natural turf cricket wickets, 10m backdrop drop fence, retaining wall and storage shed.
