Sports Design Group (SDG) is an Australian sports and recreation consultancy specialising in the planning, design, documentation and delivery of high-quality sporting facilities.

Established by Brent Gordon, SDG provides independent specialist advice across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and strategic planning through to detailed design, tender documentation, contract administration and construction support.

With extensive experience across local government, sporting organisations, clubs and the racing industry, SDG has developed a strong understanding of the technical, operational and community requirements that underpin successful sporting facilities.

Our expertise spans AFL, cricket, netball, football, athletics, hockey, tennis, basketball, bowling greens and racing facilities, including both natural and synthetic playing surfaces.
